Resources

Here is a list of bookmarks on my computer:

ecornerLogo2
ecorner – Stanford University’s entrepreneurship corner has all the information you could ever want about starting a business. Many people have paid thousands of dollars to hear some of these speakers. In my opinion, the best free website out there.

odesk
Odesk – This is the site I use to outsource anything and everything. I have two virtual assistants right now, one in India, and one in the Philippines. Free up time and make your life easier. Big ups to Gene for creating Advantageous.
As blogging grows as an industry, oDesk’s unique Blogger Industry Trends page offers anyone researching this topic full transparency into one of the world’s largest outsourcing marketplaces. Free to use, no registration required.

pandora
Pandora – If you are reading this you probably don’t need a description. If you do need one, do yourself a favor and check this site out. A guaranteed bookmark.

score
SCORE – Many of the consultants are retired economics professors or upper level executives. They are reliable, experienced, and oh yes, free. Again, there are people out there that pay thousands of dollars for the kind of information these guys give.

drudgereport
Drudge Report – So long newspapers. Although I am trying adopt Tim Ferris’s model of “low information diet.” I still find myself on Drudge every now and then. Best news website on the web in my humble opinion.

startuply
Startuply – If your dream is to own your own business and you are currently working a dead end job, than why not get your DREAM JOB, a combination of the two. This is a great place to find you niche and dive head first into start up world. Make contacts. Gain experience.

iinnovate_new_logo_v3
iinovate – This is another site similar to ecorner. It is run by entirely by Stanford students. Great interviews here by people who have “walked the walk.”

Abroad – Are you interested in either working, traveling, studying, living, or volunteering abroad? Then this site is a must. You can find anything from long term expat assignments to short term ski instructor. Bon voyage.

Interfacelift
– I change my background constantly (its kind of a habit). This is my favorite place to look for new ones. They update weekly.

Weekly college and pro football point spreads – “It has ever been my experience that folks who have no vices, have very few virtues” – Abraham Licnoln. Go ahead and make the game interesting.
